Careers

Share our vision in making friends for a better world?

Then join us at the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) where we offer you a unique opportunity to develop your skills in international cooperation and relations!

You will be part of a dynamic organisation whose work is anchored in programmes and initiatives to bring Singaporeans and world communities together to uplift lives and strengthen mutual understanding, ties and trust.

Careers at SIF offer you the opportunity to get involved in real-world projects, and a scope for critical-thinking, inventiveness, strategic planning and adaptability in a collaborative and collegial environment.

Be part of a team that helps to raise healthcare and education standards regionally; enable and equip youths to start or scale up social enterprises worldwide; leverage the arts for positive change; and unearth stories of people doing good to inspire greater good.

Our Values

  • Diversity & Inclusion

  • Employee Value Proposition

  • Innovation @ SIF

We value diversity in our workforce. And diversity at our organisation includes fostering a workplace where individual differences and abilities are recognised, appreciated, respected and treated in ways that fully develop and utilise each person's talents and strengths. We are therefore committed to offering career opportunities to all candidates regardless of age, gender, religion, marital status, disability and socio-economic background.

For instance, we work closely with relevant partners to support our journey in becoming an enabling employer for Persons With Disabilities (PWDs). In doing so, we also help our employees gain the necessary knowledge and competencies to work with differently abled people. If you would like to be part of our journey in harnessing the power of diversity and inclusion, please connect with us at [email protected].

So what makes SIF a great place to work?  We do this through an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) that balances both corporate and personal goals: “Organisational Culture”, “Rewards & Recognition”, “Career & Personal Growth” and “Work-Life Integration”.  Through our EVP, we aim to differentiate SIF as an employer of choice in the non-profit and international organisation space – offering not only meaningful work resulting in a greater good, but also a positive work culture and experience, and personalised professional growth for our employees.

A key operating outcome for SIF is to become an effective and innovative organisation. Innovation at SIF is defined as the successful implementation of appropriate ideas which add value to our vision and mission. As a lean non-profit organisation, innovation is central in helping us optimise resources and do more with what we have. With SIF’s Innovation Framework in place, we adopt a structured approach to generate, upvote, evaluate, implement, recognise and reward ideas from our employees to improve process or programme.

In recognition of SIF’s commitment and efforts as an organisation to cultivate and champion innovation, we were awarded the “Best Innovation in HR” at the HR Festival Asia 2019.
