Project aim
To enhance teachers’ expertise and improve student-centric learning approaches in public schools in Malaysia.
Outcomes
A multidisciplinary team of Singapore International Volunteers comprising education professionals will collaborate with 200 Malaysian teacher trainees from primary and secondary schools in Kuala Lumpur and Johor. They will exchange knowledge, skills and best practices in areas such teachers’ empowerment, classroom management, and developing school programmes. A core group of 30 Master Trainers will be selected from the participants and equipped with enhanced skillsets that they can impart to a larger community of educators in Malaysia. The project is expected to benefit over 26,000 teachers, students, and parents.
