Strategic Management Division

 

The Strategic Management Division is responsible for corporate planning, business and partnership development, financial governance, human resource and office management, and IT support. Finance fosters good corporate governance and stewardship through adherence to industry best practices and statutory requirements, and works with Divisions to deliver optimal budget planning and utilisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Finance Department (e.g. review of journal entries, bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules)
  • Ensure effective internal controls and proper financial records and procedures are adhered to (e.g. maintaining accuracy of budgeting, invoicing, and accounting expenditures)
  • Prepare and present the annual budget for endorsement
  • Collate and present data to stakeholders quarterly
  • Manage internal and statutory auditors and stakeholders on audit, financial and budgetary matters
  • Implement audit recommendations 
  • Prepare updates to the Audit Committee, Investment Committee, Executive Committee and Board of Governors on financial and corporate governance issues 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience, with 3 years in supervisory position
  • Experience with public sector financial procedures would be an advantage
  • Strong initiatives, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous, with an eye for detail
  • Good command of written and verbal English
  • Knowledge of ACCPAC accounting software or equivalent
  • Singaporean
