Youth Leadership Development Programme

The ASEAN Youth Fellowship (AYF) is a leadership development programme that aims to grow and connect emerging young leaders with a focus on public, private, people sector collaboration. It is organised by the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) in partnership with
the National Youth Council (NYC).

The programme was inaugurated in 2018 to commemorate Singapore’s Chairmanship of ASEAN. After a hiatus in 2020, the third run of the Fellowship took place from 27 to 31 October 2021.

The ASEAN Youth Fellowship is a leadership development programme co-organised by the Singapore International Foundation and the National Youth Council Singapore. The sixth edition will take place in person from 3 November to 10 November 2023 in Singapore and Laos.

Eligibility:

1) Professionals aged between 27 and 35 years old
2) Citizens of ASEAN member states
3) Youth leaders with an established track record in their communities of influence, with high potential to take on more prominent leadership positions

Programme Objectives

The AYF aims to provide leadership development and build a strong network among up-and-coming leaders while exposing them to further opportunities in the region and enhancing social innovation in ASEAN.

During the programme, participants have the opportunity to engage in dialogue with senior policy-makers and thought leaders, as well as participate in exclusive institutional visits and learning journeys to key facilities and organisations in Singapore and the region.
