The ASEAN Youth Fellowship (AYF) is a leadership development programme that aims to grow and connect emerging young leaders with a focus on public, private, people sector collaboration. It is organised by the Singapore International Foundation (SIF) in partnership with
the National Youth Council (NYC).
The programme was inaugurated in 2018 to commemorate Singapore’s Chairmanship of ASEAN. Most recently, the second run of the Fellowship took place from 28 September to 5 October 2019.
Hear from Our ASEAN Youth Fellows
“AYF showed me the human side of Singapore, which can be perceived as a competitive country. Our Singaporean Fellows were gracious and generous. I enjoyed visiting one of their homes, where I had the opportunity to learn about their everyday life and community.”

“Learning from Singapore’s past and future developments made me realise what I can do for my country. I hope that by sharing my experience with my fellow Filipinos, they will be inspired to envision a better and more inclusive Philippines in the years to come.”

“Through this experience with AYF, I get to understand concepts of innovation better. What I’ve learnt is that innovation is not just about fancy technology, but it is also about constantly trying to do better with whatever resources you have.”
